That’s My Life

Be yourself; Everyone else is already taken.

— Oscar Wilde.

Life is hard. And living with anxiety and depression can be even more difficult. It’s not impossible, just difficult. My depression and anxiety inhibit me from doing some of the things I love and makes me feel like a completely different person majority of the time. My normal is different than everyone else’s normal. There’s nothing wrong with that. We each have our own qualities, some we like and others we don’t. There is no sense in trying to be like someone else just because you think you should.

It drains me, leaves me on edge, or makes me feel completely alone. For me, the stress my anxiety gives me and the isolation from my depression is the worst part. Some days are good days and others are bad. That’s just how it goes and that’s life. I try to live life to the fullest and enjoy all of the happy moments, no matter how big or small.

It’s hard to say how long I have been living with anxiety and depression, but that’s just me and I am not ashamed.

Yours Truly,

Anxious & Depressed Me
